my granda was a lovely man. He would of done anything to help me and the family. He was always able to put a smile on my face whenever i was down. He left behind 2 daughters jean and lily, 5 granddaughters and 1 grandson, and 12 great grandchildren. my granda wasnt very well the last year of his life and went down hill very quickly it was still a big shock when he died in hospital aged 75 due to chest problems from working years ago. Granda always had partys for us when we were kids at holloween christmas etc and even when the great grandchildrn came alone he continued with these partys at christmas time where he would dress as santa i have him on video cam and love to watch it cause it makes me laugh when he danced about with his wee bell granda you were always there for me and i miss you so much hope your looking down on us and keeping us safe granda my partner mark swain has now joined you please look out for him and keep him company up there till i see you both again cause i will never get over losing you both xx

its me granda the stranger lol. well granda havent been on this in ages but that dosnt mean we have forgot you. We always talk about you and still miss you so much and wish everyday that you were here making me laugh as me and you done a lot of when we were together. i was talking to 1 of my neighbours last nite she used to work in the hostel she said i look like you lol and there was me thinking i was gd looking ha ha only joking granda if i am half the person you were then i would be ok ive 2 new babys granda twins lol a girl and a boy well will go now granda luv you and miss you loads doreen xxxxxxxxx

What is Dying?
A ship sails and I stand watching till she fades on the horizon and someone at my side says 'She is gone'.
Gone where? Gone from my sight, that is all. She is just as large now as when I last saw her. Her diminished size and total loss from my sight is in me, not in her.
And just at the moment when someone at my side says she is gone there are others who are watching her coming over their horizon and other voices take up a glad shout 'There she comes!'
That is what dying is. An horizon and just the limit of our sight.
Lift us up, Oh Lord, that we may see further.

well daddy a year today, we all still love and miss you loads. it dosnt seem like a year has passed the time has flew in they are dedicating a room for you up in the orange hall but sure you deserve it the money you spent fixing the place up well daddy will say goodnite and i love you always lilly xxxxx

hey granda john, sorry i havnt been writing on his much, ive just been busy latley lookin after your great grandchildren. think about you all the time, espeically when theres a parade on the road and your not at the front with ur bowler hat and sash lol. wee all love and miss you loadz i cant beleive its almost a year already it seems like only yesterday!

well granda john hows things with you, i hope your happy up there and still watching over us all down here. sorry i havent been up to the graveyard lately but now that the better weather is coming in i will get up more often. The kids are all great we were watching you on the camcorder the other night when ever you dressed up as santa in one of your many partys lol i love watching it as it makes me laugh. we all love and miss you granda john and wish you were still here with us you could of took us to blackpool again lol look after mark up there for me granda love always doreen xxxxxx
